Last weekend we stayed at the Palazzo in Las Vegas to celebrate Anne's bachelorette party along with our friends Felissa, Jill and Stephanie.
The Palazzo is perfect for a girls' trip to Vegas because it sits in the middle of the Strip next to the Venetian in walking distance or a short cab ride to everything. It has great restaurants: we were blown away by SushiSamba and Cut Steakhouse. The Palazzo has a fun pool scene. Its adult pool was closed for the season, so we had to contend with some extra background noise courtesy of nearby children; but our lush cabana made up for it.
The spacious suites have huge bathrooms and ours had two queen size beds along with a sunken living room. There were three flat screen tv's, which proved useful when Anne needed to watch the Yankees, no matter which room she was was in. Other amenities we took advantage of were the first class Canyon Ranch Spa, top notch shopping and the great nightlife at Tao and Lavo. The only downsides to the Palazzo are its size, walking to your room can be a challenge in heels (just ask Anne) and walking through the smoky casino can be a drag if you're sensitive to cigarette smoke.
We'll be detailing our different adventures over the next few weeks. In the meantime, here's a video that will give you some insight into our trip:
